Karou Charou returns to the stage with Kama Sutra 2

Kama Sutra 2, the adults only show, returns to Emperors Palace's Theatre of Marcellus on April 24.

This no-holds-barred, one man comedy show will give audiences a hilarious take on sex and sexuality in the Indian community.

What started off as a once-off show has exploded to over 25 sold-out shows across the country and propelled its star, the enigmatic and charismatic Karou Charou, to national and international prominence.

Kama Sutra has seen unprecedented success and raised the bar as far as Indian adult comedy is concerned.

Whilst some were of the opinion that the “conservative” Indian community was not ready for material of this nature, the thousands that flocked through to see the show proved otherwise.

The tremendous support of the show was a clear message that the market was evolving with a new generation of theatre and comedy lovers.

As was the case with Kama Sutra, the sequel promises to be as educational and hilarious as the “turbaned one”, with a combination of slide shows, “interesting” props and “toilet” humour that will leave audiences in stitches.

“Being over 18 does not necessarily qualify as being an adult.

“Sensitive people, with no pulse, should stay at home”, says Karou Charou.

He concluded that those who saw Kama Sutra should expect nothing short of an on-stage comedy riot.

Kama Sutra 2 will take to the stage at 8pm.

No under 18’s allowed.
