Carnival City hosted the launch for the Gauteng Motor Show on Saturday, July 5.
The launch was booming, literally, as cars came to show off their sound at the Gauteng Motor Show, hosted by their hospitality partner, Carnival City, for the Show and Sound Competition.
The launch was primarily to whet the appetite for the main show, which will be held from July 25 to 27, at the Rock Raceway in Brakpan.
Two free tickets were given away to every MVG member (Most Valued Guest), for the main event, courtesy of Gauteng Motor Show and Carnival City.
There were also a few dealerships showing their beautiful cars, such as Subaru from Johannesburg, Princes Audi in Springs and JMC from Brakpan.
The Mini Car Club was also present as well as other free individual contestants.
The main show at the Rock Raceway is going to have a Super Drift Series round 6, which will be the main event along with the RedBull X Fighters Freestyle MotorCross Stunt Show.
There will also be V8 Sprints, a SuperMoto competition and on the Sunday there is legends racing and drag racing, the latter which will be held in the evening.
More or less 50 competitors will be participating in the event.
