The works of students at Ekurhuleni Metro’s School of Photography will be exhibited from June 21 at Springs Art Gallery.
The 12 photographers, between the ages of 18 and 35 studied at this school of photography in Duduza for the past two years, developing their own distinctive style of photographing images.
This school of photography is the second one Ekurhuleni Metro has established. The other one is in Tembisa.
The exhibition, consisting of contemporary images by students from this photography project, will be officially opened at 3pm on June 21 at the art gallery.
This is more than just an opening and showcasing of photographic talent, as several crafters and fashion and home designers will also showcase their goods during the day.
The exhibition will be from June June 21 to August 30.
Springs Art Gallery is open from Monday and Friday from 9am to 4pm and Satrudays from 8am to noon. It is closed on Sundays and public holidays
