Santa’s playground

Due to popular demand, @thePark Events is bringing back the ever popular Santa’s Playground from December 1.

Hosted at @thePark Events, next to Emperors Palace, Santa has a big surprise in store for both young and old with a brand-new and exciting playground consisting of 16 inflatable, 18 funfair rides and new toddler play area and kiddies pools.

Santa’s Playground will offer a unique entertainment experience in a safe and secure environment under adult supervision as well as lifeguard supervision at the Waterpark area.

Live music will entertain visitors on a daily basis and to make the experience even more fulfilling, a number of prize and cash giveaways will also take place at the playground.

There will be a range of food and beverage stalls, including merchandise from selected brands.

The big prize being given away this year is a trip to Disney World.

The trip will for a family of four people all expenses paid.

Every person that enters through the gate will get an entry form and will be able to enter the competition.

The park will be open daily from December 1 to January 12 from 10am to 10pm, weather permitting.

The funfair will be open during weekdays from 2pm until 10pm and from 10am on public holidays and on our event days.

The water park will close at 7pm, while the funfair rides will only close at 10pm.

Tickets are R60 per person and persons under the height of 1 meter will enter for free.

Santa’s Playground has more treats in store with Santa’s Playgound Concert on the following event days.

n December 1: Santa’s Bikers Run. Bikers clubs and individual bikers are invited to join us for our first charity event. Bring a toy for an under priviledged kid and enter for free.

n December 16: Afrikaans Music Festival with names like Jack Parow, Liani May, Die Heuwels Fantasties, Tuin Dwergies, Jay, Jak de Priester, Corlea, Jannie Moolman

n December 31: Biggest “Boeremusiek” Festival with new sensation Kosie Beukes, Lieb Bester and many more bands

n January 1:The best in South African Black Artists including Dr Victor, MiCasa, Zahara and the popular DJ Fresh.

The exciting playground is conveniently situated adjacent to Emperors Palace.

Visitors will be able make use of the safe and secure parking areas at Emperors Palace, from where Santa’s Playground is a short walk or golf cart ride.
