Title: Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy Author: Helen Fielding Reviewed By: Thabile Mnguni Review made possible by: Random House Struik Rate: 10/10

If you are a Bridget Jones fan like I am, then you will definitely love this.

Mad about the Boy is an honest reflection of the challenges faced by women ‘of a certain age’ when it comes to dating.

After her husband is killed and she is left with two young children, Bridget’s friends try to get her back in the dating market.

The journey is funny, desperate and full of surprises and will have you laughing at the situations she finds herself in.

Even if this is your first exposure to Fielding’s work, you will feel at home almost immediately.

This is by far the best book I have read all year.
