Bowling competition for women at Springs Town Bowling Club

Springs Town Bowling Club hosted various women's teams from Ekurhuleni on Saturday.

Once a bowler is done with her turn, she walks across the field to observe the rest of the other bowlers play.

Springs Town Bowling Club held the Ekurhuleni Women’s Saturday League on November 19.

The league saw various women’s teams from the East Rand come together to compete in bowls.

“The perfect weather allowed us to enjoy our Saturday bowls as ladies,” said club member Tokkie Hattingh.

“It’s always good to host all the ladies from other clubs.”

Delville Bowling Club celebrated the most points in the Premier B section.

The ladies used the event to compete and socialise with each other.

Bowling is a sport open to everyone and is considered very therapeutic.

Springs Town Bowling Club's women's team wore their new club T-shirts for the league on Saturday.
