Despite the hot temperatures experienced over last weekend, Springs golfers took to the course to compete in the weekly competitions at the Pollak Park Golf Club.
The club also held a fund-raiser for Cansa on Sunday and staff dressed in pink to support the initiative.
Friday Meat Competition results:
• Front 9: Alan Naude – 22 points
• Back nine: Bazil Houdalas – 20 points
On Saturday, golfers took part in Greenskeeper’s Revenge. The results were:
• First: Andy Wehmeyer – 39 points
• Second: Heinrich Bronkhorst – 38 points• Third: Willem van Wyk – 38 points
