Ginger honoured at Pollak Park Golf Club

An extremely cold and windy day greeted the players and play was also restricted to the use of only six clubs in the bag to complete the round.

Last weekend was the monthly Gingers Day Golf competition at Pollak Park Golf Club and a new trophy was presented to the players in honour of the founder, Robert (Ginger) Campbell Atkins.
An extremely cold and windy day greeted the players and play was also restricted to the use of only six clubs in the bag to complete the round.
The winning scores reflected the rather difficult conditions, but the players, as always, still enjoyed the outing immensely.
