Competition heats up at the Springs Country Club

In the Friday Meat Competition, Doug Buckley took first place with 18 points on count out.

The Springs Country Club has plenty of competition for golfers to choose from starting midweek.
With the exception of Sunday’s windy conditions, golfers enjoyed great weather before the big winter freeze arrives.
Jorsie Lira won Wednesday’s IPS Competition with 40 points.
In the Friday Meat Competition, Doug Buckley took first place with 18 points on count out.

Saturday saw players take part in the Individual Bonus Bogey Competition which was won by Jan Els.
Second place went to Alfred Cebekhulu and Delano Kotzé came third.
Kotzé shot a gross score of 64 gross (8 under par).
In Sunday’s Pro Shop Competition, Sheldon Long prevailed with 37 points and Keegan Jones came second with 35 points.
