Striders to host weekly events
Runners were given the option of running a 2km, 4km, or 8km time trial.
The Striders Athletics Club Springs started the year off with a time trial event.
The athletes set off from the Riverfield Shopping Centre in Petersfield.

Striders member Larissa Donker said these trials will take place every Tuesday at 5.30am from the shopping centre.
“We want to start the year on a strong note and hope to get more and more people involved over time,” said Donker.
