Pollak Park golfers keep momentum in new year

Pollak Park Golf Club greens were busy over the festive season, ushering in the new year.

On December 26, in the IPS, Alex West took first place with 38 points.
Marius du Plessis landed in second place with 37 points.
The 2 Clubs went to Steve Malloy and Justin Cunha on the sixth hole, and Greg Palmer and Clair Gosse on the 13th hole.
On December 27, first place went to Greg Palmer with 39 points.
Mark Barley took second place with 37 points.

Greg Palmer and Morne Oosthuizen achieved the 2 Clubs on the 13th hole, respectively.
Later in the day, in the IPS, Oosthuizen scored 42 points and claimed first place.
In the club’s Pro’s Competition IPS on the first Saturday of the year (January 2), Dries Beukes won with 39 points.
Hannes le Roux followed close with 37 points.
In third place was Dudley Palmer with 36 points.
The 2 Clubs were achieved by Andrew Araujo, Beukes and Evan McKenzie.
On January 3, Deon Naude took the first spot with 40 points.

Last Wednesday Jose Carrazon won the IPS with 43 points.
On Friday in the Meat Competition, Vernon Hendrikse took first place with 36 points oco.
On Saturday in the IPS, Christo Nortje took first place with 38 points oco.
He was closely followed by Gawie Greef on 38 points.
