Tough competition at Springs Country Club

The Springs Country Club has seen plenty of action at its course since lockdown regulations were lifted.

This coming Saturday will see the return of the Betterball knockout.

The final of the knockout will be contested this weekend between Keegan Jones and Juan Greyling.

“The grounds at Springs are looking very good and we urge everyone to support the club during these tough times,” said club captain Deon Kotze.

Results

• In the IPS competition held on August 26, Juan Greyling emerged as the winner with 39 points.
• In Saturday’s IPS competition, Johann Hattingh was the winner with 39 points, followed by Koos Erasmus with 35 points on count out, and Donald Godfrey rounded off the top three with 35 points on count out.
• For the Pro Shop competition held on Sunday, Sheldon Long was victorious with 36 points, with Robbie Paterson in second place with 35 points.
