Army goes head to head with industry
“One way to strengthen the ties with all industries except for work relationships is to get together in an informal way.”
Men and women from the SA Army Engineer Formation Annual Golf Day gathered at the Dunnotar Marievale Engineering Golf Club on Friday morning.
Two major teams were assembled – the Army and the Industry.
This friendly encounter served the purpose of maintaining close relationships with Captains of Industry in order to promote mutual understanding and goodwill.
Captain Erica Snyman who organised the event says: “One way to strengthen the ties with all industries except for work relationships is to get together in an informal way.”

In total there are 16 teams and 18 holes; members played late into the afternoon.
The day ended with a performance from the Springs Boys’ High School choir.
