Young rugby team makes coach proud

The u-10 Springs Youth Ruby team came out on top on October 12 as they clinched the Springs Junior Cup.

The team is proud to boast an unbeaten record except for one game lost early in the season.

They went up against the Brakpan team in a tight semi-final game where they won 12-7.

In the final, the team went up against the mighty Boksburg team who they dominated 33-7.

Coach Michael Botes is incredible proud of his team and says: “I am very proud of the way they played.

“They never gave up and showed that hard work always pays off in the end.”
