Hard-fought draw for SOB u-13s

Coach George Deligiannis can be proud of his team's performance on Sunday.

The Springs Old Boys (SOB) u-13s drew 2-2 against Bedfordview FC on Sunday morning at the SOB grounds.

From the beginning, the home team were determined to come out on top.

Attack was the name of the game and had their finishing been better, the u-13s would have come away from this match with all three points.

Khaya Tibane was one of the goalscorers in the u-13s draw against Bedfordview FC on Sunday morning.

The second half was particularly entertaining as both sides looked for that elusive third goal.

In the last two minutes of added time in the second half, the u-13s came close to scoring and all who were in attendance held their heads in their hands as the ball went just a bit wide of goal.
