The Tennis Winter League started on Saturday at the Selection Park Tennis Club.
One of the teams which were playing at the club was the second team which played against Parkland.
According to tennis club committee member Deidre Vrey it was a good start of the winter league for the club and it will be running for close to five weeks.

A tennis player, Dianke Vrey, says, “I have been playing tennis for close to four years now but it’s my first year playing in the league and I’m very excited for today.
“I like the team which I’m in and I am also hoping for good results at the end of today’s game, but, may the best team win.”
Seven teams played and five out of the seven matches were won by the Selection Park Tennis Club.
