SOB ladies win in league

The Springs Bowling Club hosted the Ekurhuleni Bowling League Women’s 4s on Saturday.

The Springs Old Boys ladies teams won their respective games.

The first team won 32-15 and the other team 18-16, staying on top of the league.

The semis and final rounds will take place in Benoni on February 3.

Springs Old Boys also played on the weekend.

The results for men’s pairs were:

• Raymond Pratt and Eddie Steenkamp beat Stuart Pollak and Scotch Thompson 18-17.

• Brentley Harrison and Vincent Booysen beat Robin Clarke and Dennis Clarke 25-17.

In the Sunday men’s singles, Scotch Thompson beat Vincent Booysen 21-14.
