Jolly Brothers face off against Beers & Tits at Olympia Park

With such a small gap between the top three teams, it is too early to tell who will be crowned champions this season.

There was blazing hot action at Olympia Park Stadium this past Sunday.

Notable was the good knock by Egon Kanter of Jolly Brothers who smashed 118 runs from 43 balls during their match against Beers & Tits.

Beers & Tits posted 237 from their 20 overs with no wickets down.

The impressive score was the result of a good knock by the Crouse brothers, Dean and Dillen, who scored 50 runs off 19 balls and 50 runs off 30 balls, respectively.

Also in good form was captain Lodie Greeff who scored 56 runs off 28 balls and Juan van der Merwe who scored 50 runs off 19 balls.

Beers & Tits bowled superbly and took all seven wickets in 13 overs, leaving Kanter to bat as the last man standing.

It was a case of wait and deliver for Kanter, who in the 17th over scored 14 runs.

It was unfortunate though that he couldn’t save his team but took the score to a respectable finish of 195 runs in 19.2 overs at which he was unfortunately stumped.
