Ringball is a traditional South African family sport that has been played for quite some time now.
It is not very well-known outside South Africa.
It is a non-contact sport played by both males and females.
It is similar to netball and a netball court can be used.

A court is divided into thirds, and in each of the three sections are three goal scorers, three centre players as well as three defenders.
Coach Evette coaches teams that are located in Springs with players from Brakpan and Welgedacht areas.
Their district has got teams from u-11 to the masters teams that range till the age of 70 and older.
They recently competed in the national tournament.
The u-11 girls A team won gold at the national ringball tournament that was held from July 1 to July 7 in Pretoria. Five girls also received their SA colours for their age groups and will be taking part in three separate days of SA games.

Ekurhuleni East District did very well at the national tournament delivering three SA referees and a range of SA players.
Adone Kidson was awarded player of the tournament and Amber-Lee Smith captain of the SA u-11 girls team.
