The team coach, Themba Zulu, says he is concerned about young people who are roaming the streets without being part of any sporting code.

“Sports not only teaches young people discipline but also on how to defend themselves in cases of emergency.

“We are calling, especially on young women, to learn how to defend themselves because we are seeing a growing number of women being abused, raped and killed on a daily basis.

“Women are not safe in their homes and communities. Through boxing and other defence classes they will be able to fight,” he says.

Zulu adds he is also calling on the law enforcement officers to ensure the perpetrators are removed from the streets.
