Gemengde Bende play against Liebherr Legends at Olympia Park Stadium
Gemengde Bende was in great form last weekend and gave Liebherr Legends a whipping.
Liebherr Legends won the toss and elected to bat first, putting 154 runs on the board for the loss of three wickets in their 20 overs.
Good score to defend but Gemengde Bende proved them wrong.
Johann Viljoen was on fire with the bat and scored 50 runs and retired and had to come back again to carry his team to victory after the fall of six wickets.
Viljoen carried on with his form scoring 62 runs off 38 balls.
Gemengde Bende left it late and had to win the game in the last over.
The final result was Gemengde Bende 158/6/20 and Liebherr Legends 154/3/20.
