Selpark CPF hosts annual fun run/walk

“We're a group of ladies who always train together so this was a fun thing to do,” says van Rooyen.

Residents came out in their numbers on a sunny Saturday morning to take part in the Selpark CPF fun run/walk.

The 5km run had runners and walkers of all ages.

“We wanted to bring the community together and collect funds to buy food for the impoverished people in our area.

“It is also a chance for people to learn what the CPF is all about as people think all we do is patrolling,” says Selpark CPF chairman Eugene Fraser.

While others were determined to finish the event in record time, others were quite happy to stroll around the neighbourhood.

Theresa Kamffler, Natasha Murray, Karen Staltz, Roxy van Rooyen, Liza van Rooyen, Miena Schoeman pulled out their onesies for the fun run/walk.
