Springs Old Boys lose with three wickets

The Springs Old Boys Promo team played against Tembisa at the Springs Old Boys Club on Sunday.

Springs Old Boys were on the pitch first to bat and scored 154 runs.

Narrowly missing the win, Springs Old Boys handed the bat to Tembisa who scored 157 runs.

Tembisa won the game with three runs, beating Springs Old Boys’ set score.

The top batsman for Springs Old Boys was Sheldon van Zyl who scored 41 runs for his team.

Neill Joubert was the top bowler with three wickets in the bag and 23 runs in 4.3 overs.

Springs Old Boys Club will host a Cricket Day fund-raiser on May 5 in aid of Giant Paw People, an organisation who aids rescue dogs.
