Also worth noting is Klaas Smit of Willowmore, who has been scoring 50s in almost every game.

Smit is gunning for top batsman of the season, and stands in line to win a new bat sponsored by TSG Toughened Glass.

In other results, the Knuck Fows won against the Jolly Brothers.

The final figures were 103/8/19.4 for the Knuck Fows against 82/8/13.1 for the Jolly Brothers.

The Jolly Brothers had a spectacular collapse, from being at 66 runs after six overs and at one stage needing only 28 runs from 10 overs to win, to being bowled out in 13.1 overs to lose the game.

This came after some superb bowling by Jolly Brothers, taking three big wickets in the first four overs before becoming complacent.

Knuck Fows caught them by surprise with their bowling, and Jolly Brothers ended up needing 28 runs from nine overs with the last man standing.

The grand finale takes place on Sunday, February 11, with the semi-finals starting at 8am and the final taking place at 12.30pm.

The prize presentation will take place at 3pm.
