A new season of drifting kicks off at the Rock Raceway in Brakpan on February 10.
The first round of the South African Drift Champs will be action-packed and full of slideways antics from our local drifters out to dazzle and impress the crowds and judges.
All eyes will be trackside as the drifters purposefully attempt to lose control of their chariots and demonstrate that they can skilfully regain control as they slide.
Drift fans are encouraged to fill the stands in huge numbers to cheer on their slideways heroes.
The layout of the circuit will test the skill levels of all the drifters as they all chase the ultimate prize at victory lane.
Gates open at 10am with practice sessions for drifters; and qualifying and event proceedings will start at 4pm.
Patrons admission fee as follows: Adults pay R80 and children (ages 6-12) pay R30.
Refreshments on sale on site.
Fans are encouraged to bring along banners depicting their support of their favourite competitors.
