The Johannes Geldenhuys Golf Academy hosted a Junior Golf Day on Saturday at the Springs Country Club.
Johannes explains once a month a golf day is held for all the junior players.
On Saturday about 30 junior golfers participated in the golf day.
“This is for the juniors to take part in a competition and to practice their game,” he says.
The youngest player plays one hole while other youngsters play four holes and the nine holes are played by the older junior golfers.
“The day was a great success and the players really played well.
“Thank you to everyone who attended the day.”
The next junior golf days are:
• October 7
• October 28
• November 25
• December 2 is a father and son golf day to end of the year.
