Vian and Ilana are Winter champions
The Springs Country Club hosted their Winter Club Championships on Saturday and Sunday.
The two-day championships saw the players competing in the Monthly Medal competition.
Vian Kruger won the men’s A division with 151 gross points play off.
His runner-up was Delano Kotze with 157 gross.
The best 36 holes player was Shelton Masiya with 140 nett.
Josiah Shishange won the B division with 167 gross points.
Stefan Prinsloo took second place with 170 gross points as well as nearest the pin at hole 15.
Ras Jacobs was the best nett player in his division with 144 points.
Connie Wiid won the C division with 185 gross points and Hennie Muller took second place with 191 gross.
Piet de Wet was the best nett player with a score of 153 and took nearest the pin at hole 12 on Saturday.
Wikus Nel took nearest the pin at hole eight on Sunday.
The women’s silver competition was won by Ilana Prinsloo with 172 gross and her runner-up was Tersia Beck with 196 gross.
Bertie Lotz was the copper winner with 69 points with Hester Mare in second place with 67 points.
Ilana took nearest the pin on Saturday at hole eight while Tersia took nearest the pin on Sunday at the second hole.
