Kotze win Foursomes Open Championship
The Springs Country Club hosted their Foursomes Open championships on Saturday.
This is a 36 hole nett competition.
Deon Kotze and Delano Kotze won the competition with 142 points.
In second place were Tjokkie Venter and Johan van Deventer with 144 points.
Best gross was taken by Gawie Greeff and Harry Muller who obtained 160 points.
The best morning players were Koos Erasmus and Ilana Prinsloo with 160 points.
Their runners-up were Shelton Masiya and Solly who obtained 74 points nett on count out.
Nellis van Dyk and Vernon Hendrikse took first place in the best afternoon nett with 71points, followed by Henk Hoffman and Dave Pretorius with 72 nett points.
Johnny Oosthuysen took nearest the pin at hole eight and Dries Beukes at hole 15.
Super 16 will be played on Saturday.
