Weekend golf results at Pollak Park
Senior golfers from Springs and Pollak Park had fun in the Old Man's competition.
Pollak Park Golf Club held its individual stableford (IPS) competition on Saturday and Sunday, as well as other competitions over the past week.
The Sunday IPS winner was Clemens van der Berg, who obtained 38 points.
His runner-up was Steve Murphy, also with 38 points.
Brand van Wyk won the Saturday IPS with 40 points, followed by Donovan Grobler, who obtained 39 points.
In third place was Kobie Grobler with 37 points.
The Friday Meat competition’s IPS was won by Jerry le Roux.
Le Roux obtained 39 points.
Connor Mybirth took second place with 38 points.
The best front nine was taken by Gary Schapira with 22 points on count out and the best back nine was won by Piet Middel with 29 points.
No results were available for the Springs Pollak Pensioners Day “Old Man” IPS at the time of going to print.
