Pollak Park Golf Club results
The Pollak Park Golf Club held its Individual Stableford I.P.S competition on Saturday, as well as competitions throughout the week.
Results for the week’s golf competitions are as follows:
Wednesday competition:
In first place, Ross MacAllistair won with 37 points.
Jan Els placed second with 35 points.
Thursday competition:
With 37 points, Dave Paterson took the lead for this competition.
Henry Stokes placed second with 36 points.
Friday competition:
Colin Spence won with 41 points.
Ross MacAllistair makes a second appearance, this time in second place with 29 points.
The title of Best Front Nine Holes was awarded to Gerhard Gibson, who obtained 15 points.
Grant Cockeran took the title of Best Back Nine Holes for the day, with 13 points.
The Saturday AM winners were:
Wayne Myburgh in first place with 40 points.
Clemens van der Berg senior in second place with 40 points on count out.
Third place was taken by Clemens van der Berg junior, with 37 points.
In fourth place was Jared Thompson, with 37 points on count out.
The Saturday PM winners were:
In first place Herman Lintvelt with 42 points.
Albert Lintvelt took second place with 40 points.
With his 36 points, Gavin Bryson came in third and Alan Naude made fourth place with 35 points on count out.
Sunday competition:
Jeremy Wright in first place with 37 points.
Lance Kruger placed second with 35 points on count out.
In third place is Okkie Strydom with 35 points on count out and David Livie is in fourth place with 35 points on count out.
The Pollak Park Golf Club’s club championships are on March 4 and 5.
