NG chuch hosts a golfing fund-raiser
The Selection Park NG church hosted a fund-raising golf day at the Springs Country Club golf course on Friday.
Fourteen teams of four participated in the event which was open to the general public.
Although the church regularly holds fund-raising events such as wine tastings and soup evenings, this was their first-ever golf day.

Members of the congregation sponsored all of the prizes in an effort to assist with the fund-raising.
Dawie Steenkamp came in first place and won a retractable garden hose reel.
Nivada Viljoen earned second place while Johan Olivier finished in third position.
Elder Johan Olivier was posted on the 15th hole where he sold beverages to passers-by.
“We are having fun for a good cause,” he says.

The church will hold a Stap vir Bybels event on October 29.
