Ginger’s Day golf tournament

The Pollak Park Golf Course hosted the monthly Ginger’s Day tournament on Saturday.

With 41 points Peter Power won the day.

Tom Scott followed closely with 40 points and Ian Scott came in third with 39 points.

Corrie Schalkwyk accumulated 38 points and earned fourth place.

On the eighth hole the only female in the field, Hester Nell, scored an eagle.

Andre Elders hit nearest to the pin and Dawie Cilliers got the longest day.

The club also hosted the Hitachi group and held a braai in celebration of Heritage Day in the afternoon.
