Tennis finalists advance to next round
The semi-finals of Selection Park Tennis Club's club competition took place on Saturday.
In the men’s singles round, Daniel Myeni beat Rynhardt Knoetze 6-2/6-2.
Mieke de Lange beat Dianke Very 6-1/6-1 in the back-draw semi-final of the women’s singles round.
Another back-draw semi-final women’s singles round saw Palesa Mbjotja beating Konieka de Langa 6-3/6-0.
Mixed doubles pairs Pieter Stoltz and Clair Gosse beat Ernst de Wet and Diedre Very 6-4/6-3.
Jono Reed and Sandy Kock beat Duncan Gall and Linda Knoetze 6-1/7-5
Kyla Yelverton and Gillian Perriera beat Diedre and Dianke Very 6-2/6-0 in the women’s doubles match.
Collen Fawcett and Annie Pesic beat Michelle Kent and Linda Knoetze 6-1/6-3.
