She says the interest was overwhelming and that players from u-11 to masters were interested.
“We played several games and I am sure that we have created an ringball awareness,” adds Sus.
The overall winners of the day were the Rosa Gladiators, who beat Brakpan Warriors 2-0.
The Rosa team won the women’s division against Rebels with 2-1 goals, while Romeos drew against the Rosa team in the men’s division, with 1-1 goals.
In the children’s division, the Brats beat the Beauty and the Beast team with 2-1,and the u-11 Mignons took third place.
“We are grateful for the opportunity given to us to promote this sport,” says Sus.
