Pollak Park’s festival results
The results following Pollak Park Golf Club’s festival of golf, which was held from Tuesday to Sunday, are as follows:
Tuesday’s Betterball Stableford games resulted in John Wright and Willie Scheepers obtaining the first position in the male division, with 36 points on count out.
For the ladies, Kim de Klerk and Kara Lombard obtained first position with 37 points on count out.
Wednesday’s individual stableford resulted in Christo Willemse securing first position with 42 points on count out.
His runner-up was Hein Snyman, who obtained 38 points.
Third position was obtained by Johan Roos, who obtained 37 points on count out.
Thursday’s betterball stableford resulted in Gerhard Gibson and Raymond van Rooyen securing first position with 45 points on count out.
Their runner-ups, Thapelo and Mpho Mafishe obtained 45 points on count out.
Third position was secured by Hannes Dempsey and Marius du Plessis, who had 45 points on count out.
Friday’s four-ball alliance resulted in EWNS’s team coming in first position, with the Gyrex and Micron Tech teams following in their respective positions.
Johan Beytel and Stefan Nel came in first position at Saturday’s betterball stableford games.
They obtained 46 points on count out.
Their runner-ups, Evan MacKenzie and Rynhard van Biljon obtained 45 points on count out.
In third position, with 45 points, were Gerhard Gibson and Kobie Ross.
The festival culminated in Sunday’s individual stableford games.
Dave Breedt secured first position with 32 points on count out.
His runner-up, Tim Bainbridge, obtained a score of 32 points on count out.
