Bobbies overall winners
The Bobbies golf team was the overall winners of the East Rand Commercial and Industrial League (Ercil) golf competition hosted by Pollak Park Golf Club on Saturday.
Vernon Hendrikse won the Ercil Betterball Stableford monthly competition with partner Grant van Niekerk.
They scored 69 nett points.
Club captain Bennie de Lange says a fixed group of players take part in this monthly competition held at Pollak Park, Springs Country Club and Meyerton golf clubs.
Claire Tomset and Francois van Loggerenberg took second place with 62 nett points and in third place with 63 nett points was Bushy Modise and Nelson Mpatse.
“All the guys were complimentary about the condition of the golf course,” says Rachel Howard from Pollak Park.
