Prizes for IPS players

Pollak Park had another busy weekend of golf with 207 players competing in their individual games.

The Espetada Group and CMD Group also used the golf course for their own competition games on Saturday.

Members played their individual point stableford (IPS) games over the weekend, which is a point system and members aim to score the highest individual points.

Prizes were handed to members with the highest score over both days of the competition.

Rachel Howard managed to squeeze in a four ball game with members and feels it’s a good way to connect with the members of the club.

The winners for Saturday are as follows: Chris Olivier won with his 37 points and Donovan Grobler came in second with 34 points while Willie Greyvenstein, who also managed to score 34 points, placed in third place.

The afternoon IPS games were won by Werner du Toit with 37 points, in second place was Ian McGrail with 33 points and third place went to Andre Kruger with 32 points.

Sunday’s results are as follows: First place went to Graham Farnworth who scored 39 points, Tim Bainbridge took second place with 36 points and Mark Hibbins followed closely with 35 points, placing him in the third position.

Rachel congratulates all the winners from the weekend games.
