Macsteel cycle challenge done and dusted for Springs Wheelers

On Sunday thousands of cyclists descended on the East Rand to compete in the 32nd Macsteel National Classic Cycle Race, which started and ended at Carnival City.

The cycle, which included 121km, 103km and 65km races kicked off at 6am.

Some of the cyclists from Springs Wheelers participated in the popular cycle race, completing the 103km race and each receiving a medal.

The individual results for our local cyclists were as follows;

Raymond says that “the race was brilliant and we enjoyed it, even with the rain that caught us in Heidelberg”.
