Tiaan Botha, ESLFA spokesman, says these warm-up games were a great practise session before the league starts this Saturday.
Of the 12 teams registered to play in the league, only four came out on Saturday to get a look at their rivals.
The results are as follows:
Mfundo Sangweni netted the winning goal for the u-13 Pollak Park Young Stars in their 1-0 win against Brazil. The Multiplayers team beat Showthem 3-1.
The Pollak Park Young Stars u-15 team lost 0-1 to Multiplayers while the u-17 team also suffered a 0-5 loss to Multiplayers.
The following u-15 teams will play in the league games at 10am on Saturday:
Bakerton Stadium – Comeback United vs Tigers; Dinoko vs Together United.
Welgedacht Stadium – Multiplayers Academy vs PSG.
Slovo Park soccer ground – Showthem vs Pollak Park Young Stars.
