Mike du Toit took on Ryno de Lange in a singles match as a warm-up game before taking on Nicky Hirst and Sandy Kock in a mixed double match on court one.
Court two was occupied by Tony Stevenson and Rodney Smith who played in a double match against Anastacia Pesic and Alex Frame.
The scores are not important to the players as they just try to stay focussed and fit.
The Gary Dixon Veteran Tournament will be played at the club on February 14.
Janet Stevenson, club secretary, says it is for men over 40 years of age and women over 35 years.
