Bowling club perseveres
Springs Town Bowling Club hosted a Men's Singles Handicap on Saturday.
Rain and wind did not deter the players as they competed in the local competition.
The results were as follows:
- Herkie van der Berg scored 21 against Johan Bouwer’s 10 points.
- Chris Serfontein scored 21, beating Keith Ralfe who managed a fighting 12 points.
- Domenico Ragusa scored 21 against Chris van Heerden who rolled his way to eight points.
- Hennie Greyling scored 21 against Chris Liebenberg’s seven points.
Izak Hattingh, the competition secretary, thanked all the players who persevered through the rain to finish the competition.
