Men’s team suffers brutal loss
Men and women from Springs Town Bowling Club played in the Saturday League on Saturday.
The Women’s Premier League played away against Reading CC and scored two points against Reading’s 18.
The Men’s Premier League lost 20-0 to Modderfontein, while the Men’s Third League scored 12 points against Reading CC, who only managed to get eight points.
Izak Hattingh, club secretary, says they compete in 10 Saturday League games which started on November 7.
This weekend the Men’s Premier, Women’s Premier and Men’s Third League will play away.
He says the fifth league game will be played on December 5, and the rest of the five games will continue in the new year.
