‘Fowl’ play at SOB
Springs Old Boys Bowling Club hosted its Chicken Fun Day on Sunday.
This event is held every second month where bowlers, family and friends get together to raise funds for the club.
Club members donate the prizes – eggs and frozen chickens.
Sharon Pratt, an avid bowler, says each year the social teams compete against the actual bowlers.
Trevor Plumstead’s team placed first and each team member won a chicken.
The egg prize was awarded to Ross McAllister’s team.
Two lucky draw prizes of R100 each went to Clair Gosse and Kelly Clarke.
