Golfers enjoy windy conditions

Several Springs Country Club members formed a Nomits team that played against DBK at the club on Saturday.

It was a draw as both the Nomits and DBK scored 10.5 points.

The 23 golfers who entered the Betterball Stableford club competition, also on Saturday, enjoyed the windy conditions.

Gawie Greeff and Frikkie Steyn won the competition with 48 points and hot on their heels with 46 points were Henry van Wyngaardt and Thys Fouche.

Gerhard Gibson and Gawie Steyn came in third with 45 points.

Gawie also took nearest the pin at hole eight and Grant Cockeran at hole 15.
