One Ercil golf game left to play
The Iscar golf team won the team competition with 188 points at the Springs Country Club on Saturday.
The East Rand Commercial and Industrial League (Ercil) competition was a Betterball Medal and was won by André Matthysen and Malcolm Pieterse with 59 points.
Bennie de Lange and his golf partner Christo Nortje were the runners-up with 60 nett, followed by Klaas Piater and Zander Piater with 61 nett points.
With one Ercil game left to play, the leading teams are Smurfland with 45 points, Iscar with 44 points and Mapule with 43 points.
A Four-some Championships open competition will be played at the club on October 31.
