Stefan Pretorius, who recently became a professional MMA fighter, won the title at the Gauteng National Martial Arts – International Sport Kickboxing Association (NMA-ISKA) tournament in Johannesburg on August 15.
Stefan participates in these competitions to keep him mentally alert and in shape.
He teaches MMA to children at his club in Heidelberg, who also took part in the tournament in Johannesburg.
“I also did it because, as a coach, I set an example to the children and encourage them to keep fighting for what they want and show them how to do it,” he says.
