Sandy Kock played against Dee van der Merwe in the Women’s Singles and won the match in two sets, 6-0 and 6-0.
In the Men’s Doubles, Tony Perriera and Scott Wiggill took on the much younger duo, Ashton Hirst and Steffi Matic.
In another Men’s Doubles match, Evan Marais and Rynhardt Knoetze won their match against Daniel Myeni and Rudolph Pretorius, 6-3 and 6-4.
Peter Stoltz and Ferdie Robbertse took on Tony Perreira and Scott Wiggill and won with two sets, 6-0 and 6-0.
Tony and Scott won the first set 7-6 but lost the second set 3-6.
Experience counted, however, and Tony and Scott won the third set 6-4.
After the 6-2 and 6-0 sets, Logan Stoltz lost to Ferdi Robbertse in the Men’s Singles match.
In another Men’s Singles match, Ernst de Wet beat Jacques Steyn in two sets, 6-0 and 6-0.
The next games will be played on Saturday at 1pm and 3pm, and on Sunday at 9.30am.
