Pollak Park Golf Club hosted the Ekurhuleni men’s closed championships on Sunday.

About 90 golfers, the best players from 21 clubs in Ekurhuleni, participated in the A division of this closed championships, played over 36 holes.

Rowan du Preez from Benoni was the winner of the day, followed by Jaco Rall of Ebotse and third was Stefan Cronje form Nigel.

Pollak Park Golf Club had four players in this championship.

Of these members Evan MacKenzie finished seventh, Donnovan Grobler and Andrew Mothibe both 21st and James McGrail 26th.
