Members enjoy the golf fundraising event

Springs Country Club held a fundraising golf day on Saturday at the club.

The 35 players played a Betterball Stableford format.

Piet and Liesl de Wet won with 53 points with Hennie and Harry Muller in second place scoring 47 points.

The team that took third place is Ruan and Alta Jacobs with 43 points.

Piet de Wet won nearest to the pin at the eighth hole and Hennie Muller at hole 15.

The funds raised on the day will be used for the maintenance of the club.

The East Rand Commercial and Industrial League will be played on Saturday at the club.

An Individual Stableford competition will be played on January 31.
