Race of Champions golf winner
Stefan van der Merwe was recently crowned as Springs Country Club's Race of Champions Tournament winner.
He won with 210 points with the runner-up Kyle Ferria not far behind with 193 points.
The young golfers joined Christo Hattingh at the beginning of the year and competed while being trained as golfers.
Every month a winner was chosen and the one with the most wins was chosen to be the Race of Champions champion.
The 20-week tournament was well attended by all the students and Christo is proud of all of them.
“Unfortunately there can only be one winner and Stefan played very well during his training,” he says.
The next tournament will start in April.
